  • 1 cup Sour Cream Can be flavored with herbs or spices.
  • 1 cup Guacamole A must for avocado lovers.
  • 1 cup Salsa Consider fresh pico de gallo for zing.

Equipment

  • Air fryer

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by laying a room temperature tortilla flat on a clean surface.
  2. Next, sprinkle half of the cheese evenly over the tortilla.
  3. If incorporating cooked chicken or additional fillings, scatter them over the cheese layer.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the fillings to maximize melty goodness.
  5. Gently place the second tortilla on top of the layered cheese and fillings and press down lightly.
  6. Melt butter and brush it generously on both sides of the quesadilla.
  7. Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (190°C). Place quesadilla inside and cook for 5 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  8. Once cooked, let the quesadilla rest for a minute to allow the cheese to set slightly, then slice into wedges.
