Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, grated apple, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, chopped sage, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to combine.
  3. Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter, and set aside.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the meatballs for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the meatballs to a lined baking sheet and arrange evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let the meatballs rest for a few minutes on the baking sheet before serving.
