  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish lightly with olive oil or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine Boursin cheese, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, and half of the olive oil or melted butter. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pat the salmon fillets dry, drizzle remaining olive oil or butter over them, and season with salt and black pepper.
  5. Place the salmon fillets skin side down in the prepared baking dish, and spread the creamy Boursin mixture over each fillet.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, checking for doneness at 15 minutes.
