For the Banana Bread Layer
  • 2-3 medium bananas ripe
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour can substitute gluten-free flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda ensure freshness
  • 1 tsp baking powder ensure freshness
  • 1 cup chocolate chips can substitute with nuts
  • 1/2 cup butter unsalted and melted

Method
 

Prepare the Cheesecake
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a springform pan by wrapping it in aluminum foil to create a water bath.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash 2-3 ripe bananas until smooth, then combine with flour, baking soda, baking powder, melted butter, granulated sugar, and chocolate chips.
  3. In a separate bowl, blend cream cheese with granulated sugar until creamy; add eggs one at a time, then mix in sour cream and vanilla extract.
  4. Alternately drop dollops of banana bread batter and cheesecake batter into the prepared springform pan without swirling.
  5. Gently place the roasting pan in the oven and bake for 75-90 minutes, ensuring a slight wobble in the center.
  6. Remove the pan from the water bath and let the cheesecake cool completely on a wire rack, then chill for at least 4 hours.
  7. Spread a generous layer of cream cheese buttercream frosting over the chilled cheesecake before serving.
