Method

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, sweet pickle relish, garlic powder, onion powder, white vinegar, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until smooth and chill in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil, and sauté chopped onion and minced garlic for 2-3 minutes. Add ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  3. Fill a shallow dish with warm water and soak each rice paper wrapper for 10-15 seconds. Lay the softened rice paper flat on a clean surface.
  4. On the lower third of each rice paper wrapper, layer lettuce, pickles, beef mixture, and cheese. Fold sides over filling and roll tightly from bottom to top.
  5. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Fry rolls seam-side down for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from the pan, drain on paper towels, and serve warm with special sauce for dipping.
