Step‑by‑Step Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, sweet pickle relish, garlic powder, onion powder, white vinegar, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until smooth and chill in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil, and sauté chopped onion and minced garlic for 2-3 minutes. Add ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
- Fill a shallow dish with warm water and soak each rice paper wrapper for 10-15 seconds. Lay the softened rice paper flat on a clean surface.
- On the lower third of each rice paper wrapper, layer lettuce, pickles, beef mixture, and cheese. Fold sides over filling and roll tightly from bottom to top.
- In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Fry rolls seam-side down for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the pan, drain on paper towels, and serve warm with special sauce for dipping.
