Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry until it’s smooth and about 1/8 inch thick, then slice into rectangles.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine beaten eggs, cheese, crumbled bacon, caramelized onions, and seasonings.
  4. Spoon the filling onto one half of each pastry rectangle, leaving a half-inch border.
  5. Fold the other half of the pastry over the filling, crimp the edges with a fork.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg or milk, then bake for 18-22 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before serving.
