Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook onions for an additional 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are soft and golden.
  4. Roll out puff pastry to 1/8-inch thick and cut into 12 squares. Place on the baking tray and brush the edges with egg wash.
  5. Spoon caramelized onions into the center of each pastry square, ensuring even distribution.
  6. Bake for about 15 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  7. Sprinkle crumbled goat cheese on the hot onions in each tart, drizzle with balsamic reduction, and garnish with parsley before serving.
