Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Sauté chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic in the same skillet for 5-6 minutes until vegetables are soft.
  4. Add beef broth to the skillet, scraping browned bits from the bottom. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and let it simmer for 4-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Gradually add provolone cheese, stirring until it melts and the sauce is smooth.
  7. Return the seared steak to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and mix thoroughly with the sauce.
  8. Gently fold in the cooked tortellini, ensuring they are well-coated.
