- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the Italian sub rolls in half lengthwise, keeping them hinged. Place cut sides up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, melt ½ cup of unsalted butter. Mix in garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, dried basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
- Brush the cut sides of the rolls with the seasoned butter mixture.
- Layer the fillings on the bottom halves of the rolls: salami, ham, and pepperoni.
- Add mozzarella cheese on top of the meats followed by provolone cheese.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese, then add roasted red peppers, sliced black olives, and banana peppers.
- Add fresh basil leaves before closing the sandwiches.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is golden.
- Cool for 1 minute, then slice into portions and serve warm.
