Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl until smooth.
- Mix granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, and egg into the mashed bananas.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and cinnamon. Gradually stir into the wet mixture.
- Prepare the crumb topping by mixing brown sugar, flour, and melted butter until coarse crumbs form.
- Pour the banana batter into the greased loaf pan and sprinkle with crumb topping.
- Bake for 60–65 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
