- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your casserole dish.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced onions and sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
- Stir in 1 can of cream of mushroom soup, 1 cup of milk, and 1 cup of sour cream with seasonings. Mix for about 3 minutes.
- Incorporate 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted and velvety.
