Cooking Steps
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain, reserving a cup of pasta water.
  2. Season the steak with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Ensure even coverage on the meat.
  3. In a large skillet, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Sear steak for 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove and let rest.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat and add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Add cooked pasta, tossing it in the garlic butter. Return the steak and add parsley, chives, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, or reserved pasta water.
