Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 baking dish with butter.
  2. Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet until browned and crumbled, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. In the same skillet, cook the bacon until crispy, about 4-6 minutes, then crumble it.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, ranch seasoning mix, and milk and blend until smooth.
  5. Whisk in the large eggs, then fold in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, cooked sausage, and half the bacon.
  6. Layer the hashbrowns in the greased baking dish and pour the creamy egg mixture over them.
  7. Top with remaining cheese and bacon before covering with foil and baking for 45 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  9. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
