- In a mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, hot sauce, honey, salt, and lime juice until smooth. Toss in the shredded cabbage and grated carrots and chill.
- In another bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, minced jalapeño, and capers, blend until smooth, and refrigerate.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, chili powder, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Add egg and beer; stir until smooth.
- Pat cod fillets dry, season with salt and pepper, and heat vegetable oil to 350°F. Dip fillets in batter and fry until golden brown.
- Warm tortillas, place fried fish on each, top with slaw and sauce, and add optional toppings before serving.
