Step-by-Step Instructions for Bang Bang Tofu
  1. Press the extra-firm tofu for about 20 minutes to remove excess moisture and cut into cubes.
  2. Toss the tofu with soy sauce and olive oil, followed by cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C), arrange tofu in a single layer, and air fry for 12-15 minutes.
  4. For pan-frying, heat oil in a skillet, add tofu, and cook for 8-12 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Whisk together mayonnaise, sweet Thai chili sauce, Sriracha, and rice vinegar until smooth.
  6. Drizzle half the sauce over the cooked tofu and toss until coated.
  7. Serve with cooked rice, topped with garnishes and remaining sauce, and finish with sesame seeds and lime.
