Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and adjust the racks to the center position.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add cooking oil and heat it up. Add chicken breasts and sprinkle half of the taco seasoning.
  3. After flipping the chicken, add the remaining taco seasoning, salsa, and chicken broth, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes.
  4. Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet for about 10 seconds on each side.
  5. Shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces and mix with pan juices.
  6. Assemble tacos on a lined baking sheet with tortillas, chicken mixture, cheese, and additional salsa.
  7. Brush assembled tacos with oil and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  8. Allow tacos to cool for a minute before serving.
