  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder Adjust according to spice preference.
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Optional but adds flavor.
  • 1 tsp Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Adjust to taste.

  • 10 pieces Tortillas (Flour or Corn) Corn tortillas for gluten-free option.
  • 2 tbsp Cooking Spray or Oil For brushing.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken, cream cheese, shredded cheese, salsa, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until creamy.
  3. Warm the tortillas in the microwave for about 20 seconds to make them pliable.
  4. Place 2-3 tablespoons of the chicken filling on one side of each tortilla and roll it tightly, sealing in the filling.
  5. Arrange the rolled taquitos seam-side down on the baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  6. Brush the taquitos lightly with oil or cooking spray.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crisp, optionally broiling for 1-2 minutes at the end.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before serving.
