  • 1 tablespoon Light Soy Sauce Adds umami and complexity.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, kosher salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Cut the boneless chicken thighs or tenders into bite-sized pieces and toss them in the flour mixture.
  3. In a large skillet, heat about 1/2 inch of olive oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the coated chicken pieces in a single layer and fry for about 5–7 minutes on each side.
  5. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add unsalted butter to melt.
  6. Add honey, light soy sauce, and minced garlic, stirring for about 2 minutes.
  7. Gently add the fried chicken back into the skillet and stir to coat thoroughly.
  8. Serve alongside rice or mashed potatoes.
