Preparation Steps
- Spray the insert of your slow cooker with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Place the chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Pour the marinara sauce and chicken broth over the chicken.
- Sprinkle garlic powder, onion granules, Italian seasoning, paprika, and red chili flakes evenly on top.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 4 hours.
- Shred the chicken in the slow cooker with two forks, mixing gently to combine.
- Add the cheese tortellini, mozzarella, and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
- Cover and cook on LOW for another 30 minutes.
- Stir in the baby spinach and cook for an additional 10 minutes until wilted.
- Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese and adjust seasoning as needed before serving.
