Preparation Steps
  1. Spray the insert of your slow cooker with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of your slow cooker.
  3. Pour the marinara sauce and chicken broth over the chicken.
  4. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion granules, Italian seasoning, paprika, and red chili flakes evenly on top.
  5. Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 4 hours.
  6. Shred the chicken in the slow cooker with two forks, mixing gently to combine.
  7. Add the cheese tortellini, mozzarella, and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  8. Cover and cook on LOW for another 30 minutes.
  9. Stir in the baby spinach and cook for an additional 10 minutes until wilted.
  10. Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese and adjust seasoning as needed before serving.
