Step-by-Step Instructions for Healthy Burger Bowls
  1. Prepare the Spice Mix: In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until evenly blended.
  2. Prepare Potatoes: Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F). Cut the medium potatoes into chips or wedges, pat them dry, toss with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and half of the spice mix, then bake for 30–40 minutes or air fry for 20 minutes.
  3. Cook Beef Mince: Heat a large frying pan over medium-high heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and then the lean beef mince. Cook until browned, stir in remaining spice mix, and cook for an additional 3–4 minutes.
  4. Make Burger Sauce: Combine mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a bowl. Mix until well integrated and adjust seasonings if needed.
  5. Assemble Bowls: Divide the crispy potatoes among serving bowls, layer with shredded lettuce, cooked beef mince, sprinkle with cheese, add pickle slices, and drizzle with the burger sauce.
