  • 1 tablespoon Non-stick Cooking Spray Olive oil spray works well too.
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar Coconut sugar can be used for a lower glycemic index.
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
For the Fruit Salsa
  • 2 pieces Granny Smith Apples Any crisp apple variety like Honeycrisp can be substituted.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Freshly squeezed juice is ideal.
  • 2 pieces Kiwis Diced peaches or mango can be used for variation.
  • 1 cup Strawberries Fresh strawberries are best; frozen can work if well-drained.
  • 1 cup Raspberries Optional; blueberries can be substituted.
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar Maple syrup makes a delightful alternative.
  • 1 tablespoon Fruit Preserves Strawberry or raspberry; any flavor can be used.

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl until well blended. Set aside.
  3. Lightly spray three flour tortillas with non-stick cooking spray on both sides and coat in cinnamon sugar mixture.
  4. Stack the coated tortillas and cut them into 12 wedges.
  5. Arrange tortilla wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 11–12 minutes.
  6. Peel and finely chop the Granny Smith apples, tossing them in a large bowl with fresh lemon juice.
  7. Add diced kiwis and strawberries to the bowl. Optionally, toss in raspberries.
  8. Mix in brown sugar and fruit preserves, gently stirring to combine.
  9. Serve your Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips immediately.
