Preparation Steps
  1. Prepare rice by cooking 1 cup of white rice according to package instructions for 15-20 minutes until fluffy.

  3. Stir in taco seasoning and about ½ cup of water, simmering for 3-5 minutes until sauce thickens.
  4. Prepare toppings: rinse black beans, thaw corn, and chop cilantro.
  5. Assemble bowls: layer rice, seasoned beef, black beans, corn, and top with cheddar cheese and salsa.
