Step-by-Step Instructions for Quick and Customizable Simple Stir-Fried Noodles
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons of low-sodium soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of toasted sesame oil, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar until fully combined.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil over high heat. Add your choice of noodles and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until they reach an al dente texture.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large wok or non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef in a single layer, sear for about 1-2 minutes on each side until browned.
  4. In the same wok, add 1 sliced onion and sauté for 2 minutes or until translucent. Add 1 cup of chopped broccoli and 1 cup of julienned carrots, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour the prepared sauce into the vegetable mixture, stirring until everything is well coated. Simmer for about 2-3 minutes until it slightly thickens.
  6. Add the drained noodles and the seared beef back into the wok, tossing everything together for about 2-3 minutes until heated and coated.
  7. Transfer the stir-fried noodles to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
