  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon Nutmeg Can substitute with allspice or ginger
  • ½ teaspoon Salt

  • ¼ cup Cinnamon Sugar Mixture Mix remaining sugar with cinnamon

Method
 

Baking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each, then add the mashed sweet potatoes and blend until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. In a small bowl, combine granulated sugar and cinnamon for the topping.
  7. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
  8. Bake for 55-65 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
