Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your muffin tin.
- Roll out the crescent roll dough on a lightly floured surface and form a smooth rectangle.
- In a bowl, mix granulated sugar, light brown sugar, and ground cinnamon.
- Brush melted butter over the dough and sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture evenly.
- Place the second layer of dough on top, press to seal, and cut into strips.
- Roll each strip gently to form spirals, maintaining airiness.
- Dip spirals in melted butter and coat with cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Place cruffins in the muffin tin and bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool before serving.
