- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Once shimmering, add the ground beef. Cook for about 5 minutes until browned, breaking it up with a spatula. Add salt and pepper.
- Stir in the diced onion and grated carrot. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until the onion is soft and the carrot tender.
- Add the minced garlic and stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add thinly sliced cabbage and ground ginger. Pour in soy sauce and sesame oil. Stir and wilt for 5-7 minutes until tender.
- Taste and adjust seasonings. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve warm.
