Preparation Steps
- In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- Whisk in vegetable oil, salt, and egg until well combined.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to bread flour in a large bowl. Mix until the dough comes together, then knead for 8-10 minutes.
- Coat a large bowl with oil, place dough inside, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise for 1-1.5 hours until tripled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Punch down the dough and divide it into 16 pieces, shaping them into balls. Place in a greased baking pan and let rest for 30 minutes.
- Whisk together an egg and brush onto the tops of the rolls. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Melt butter and add minced garlic and parsley. Brush over baked rolls immediately.
