Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together lukewarm milk, an egg, and melted butter until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine flour, sugar, and instant yeast; mix well.
  3. Gradually add wet ingredients to dry ingredients while mixing gently until a soft dough forms.
  4. Transfer the dough to an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 1.5 to 2 hours until doubled.
  5. Roll out the dough to ¼ inch thick and cut into donut shapes.
  6. Heat oil in a pan to 170-180°C (340-360°F); prepare a plate with paper towels.
  7. Fry donuts in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown; drain on paper towels.
  8. Whip heavy cream with sugar until stiff peaks form for the filling.
  9. Cut each donut in half after cooling, and optionally spread condensed milk inside.
  10. Pipe or spread whipped cream into each donut half and dust with powdered sugar.
