- In a mixing bowl, combine strips of flank steak with soy sauce, olive oil, freshly cracked pepper, and a dash of hot sauce. Cover and let rest for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the potato wedges and cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping until golden brown.
- In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter with minced garlic, red chili flakes, and fresh herbs. Sear the marinated steak strips for about 1 minute per side.
- Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet if desired and let it bubble for about 1 minute. Return the potatoes to the skillet and stir gently to mix with the garlic butter sauce.
