  1. Prep Ingredients: Cut the beef into 1.5-inch cubes, season generously with salt and pepper. Cube the Yukon Gold potatoes and chop the carrots. Dice the onion and mince the garlic.
  2. Layer in Crockpot: Layer the diced onion at the bottom, followed by the beef cubes, cubed potatoes, and chopped carrots. Sprinkle minced garlic, thyme, and bay leaves on top.
  3. Add Liquids: Pour the beef broth over the ingredients, stir in tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce, mixing gently.
