Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced kielbasa and cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking for 3-4 minutes until translucent. Stir frequently.
  4. In a large bowl, mix together the sour cream, heavy cream, paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  5. In a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, half of the kielbasa, half of the onion and garlic mixture, and half of the cheddar cheese.
  6. Repeat the layering with the remaining ingredients and pour the cream mixture over everything.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 40 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
  10. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired.
