Cooking Instructions
  1. Prep spices by mixing salt, smoked paprika, oregano, black pepper, chili flakes, thyme, and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Sauté diced onion for 4-5 minutes until translucent, then add minced garlic for 1 minute.
  3. Add 1 pound of ground beef, breaking it up. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  4. Stir in 2 tablespoons of tomato puree and the prepared spice mix, cooking for 1 minute. Add 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Combine 2 cups of beef stock, 1 cup of tomato passata, and 1/2 cup of heavy cream. Bring sauce to a boil.
  6. Add 12 ounces of pasta into the boiling sauce. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Adjust sauce consistency with water if too thick, gradually adding 1/4 cup at a time.
  8. Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.
