Cooking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground turkey for 5–7 minutes, then drain any excess fat.
- Sauté chopped onions and minced garlic in the skillet for 3–4 minutes until translucent.
- Add the cooked rice and tomato sauce to the skillet, cooking for another 2–3 minutes. Season to taste.
- Prepare the bell peppers by cutting them in half and removing seeds, placing them cut-side up in a baking dish.
- Fill each pepper half with the turkey and rice mixture.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and add cheese, baking for an additional 10 minutes if desired.
