Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt. Mix well, then add low-fat Greek yogurt and stir until a smooth dough forms. Knead gently for about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a smooth ball and flatten into a 6-inch oval shape.
  4. Spread about 15g of pizza sauce on one half of each dough oval, leaving a ½-inch border. Sprinkle roughly 20g of low-fat cheese over the sauce.
  5. Fold the unfilled half over the filled side and press the edges together to seal. Use a fork to press down on the edges.
  6. Arrange the sealed pockets on the prepared baking tray and bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool for about 5 minutes before serving warm, optionally with marinara sauce for dipping.
