  • 1/4 cup Honey Swap for agave syrup for a vegan version
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Ginger Grated
  • 2 tablespoons Low-Sodium Soy Sauce Use tamari for gluten-free
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice Lime juice is a good substitute
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
Optional Additions
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes For heat
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil For an Asian twist

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, low-sodium soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and lemon juice until smooth. Set aside half of the marinade for later.
  3. Arrange the tilapia fillets on the baking sheet and brush each with half of the marinade.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Remove from oven, brush remaining marinade over fillets, and let rest for a minute before serving.
