  • 3 large Eggs At room temperature.
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract Pure vanilla recommended.
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder Dutch-processed preferred.
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Whipped Cream Use dairy-free whipped topping if preferred.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease the base of a springform pan with butter.
  2. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. Melt the unsalted butter and combine it with the cookie crumbs. Press into the bottom of the springform pan to form the crust.
  3. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the sugar until combined.
  4. Incorporate eggs one at a time, then add red velvet cake mix, cocoa powder, and vanilla. Mix on low speed until combined.
  5. Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake in the oven for 60-75 minutes until the edges are set but the center has a slight wobble.
  7. Cool in the oven for 1 hour, then refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  8. Remove from the springform pan and serve with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or fresh berries.
