  • 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar or white/apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger freshly grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes adjust for heat preference
  • to taste Salt
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pat the large shrimp dry with a paper towel and season lightly with salt. Coat each shrimp in cornstarch.
  2. Heat 1/4 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Fry the coated shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic and freshly grated ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil and reduce for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Add the crispy shrimp back into the skillet and toss gently in the sauce, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Transfer the General Tso Shrimp to a serving platter and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
