Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather all ingredients.
  2. Melt 1/2 cup of butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in brown sugar until dissolved. Add orange juice, honey, and bourbon (if using). Stir in spices and simmer.
  3. Reduce heat and allow the glaze to cook for about 5-6 minutes until thickened.
  4. Arrange sliced oranges in a baking dish. Place the ham on top of the oranges. Pour chicken broth and half the glaze over the ham. Cover with aluminum foil.
  5. Bake for 20-30 minutes until heated through.
  6. Remove foil and baste the ham with pan juices. Return uncovered for an additional 15 minutes.
  7. Broil the ham for about 5 minutes for caramelization.
  8. Remove from oven and rest for a few minutes. Serve with reserved glaze drizzled on top.
