- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather all ingredients.
- Melt 1/2 cup of butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in brown sugar until dissolved. Add orange juice, honey, and bourbon (if using). Stir in spices and simmer.
- Reduce heat and allow the glaze to cook for about 5-6 minutes until thickened.
- Arrange sliced oranges in a baking dish. Place the ham on top of the oranges. Pour chicken broth and half the glaze over the ham. Cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes until heated through.
- Remove foil and baste the ham with pan juices. Return uncovered for an additional 15 minutes.
- Broil the ham for about 5 minutes for caramelization.
- Remove from oven and rest for a few minutes. Serve with reserved glaze drizzled on top.
