Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice your day-old brioche into 1-inch cubes and place them into a large mixing bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, half and half, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and salt until smooth.
  4. Add your sliced peaches gently to the bowl of brioche, then pour the custard mixture over the bread and fold together.
  5. In a small mixing bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, and a hint of cinnamon. Cut in chilled butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  6. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter. Pour the custard-bread-peach mixture evenly into the dish and sprinkle the topping over it.
