- Prepare the vegetables by rinsing and slicing the iceberg lettuce, red onion, tomato, and pepperoncini into bite-sized pieces.
- Make the dressing by whisking together mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Toss the prepared vegetables in the dressing until evenly coated.
- Preheat the broiler and spread butter or drizzle olive oil on the roll halves. Toast under the broiler for 2-3 minutes.
