Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard until smooth.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, grated onion, minced garlic, dried thyme, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
  4. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape into patties, about 3/4-inch thick.
  5. Arrange the patties on the baking sheet, brush half of the glaze on top.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes, then brush remaining glaze over topp and bake for an additional 5-8 minutes.
