- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef or turkey with crumbled feta cheese, chopped fresh herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Divide the meat mixture into equal portions and shape each piece into a patty, approximately 180 grams each. Place the patties on a plate and cover with plastic wrap.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil, then cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 5-6 minutes until the internal temperature is 160°F (71°C).
- In a separate saucepan, heat the diced tomatoes over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Stir in the cream or more crumbled feta until fully incorporated.
- Remove the patties from the skillet, let them rest for a minute, then plate and drizzle with the warm tomato cream sauce. Serve with fresh herbs.
