Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef or turkey with crumbled feta cheese, chopped fresh herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Divide the meat mixture into equal portions and shape each piece into a patty, approximately 180 grams each. Place the patties on a plate and cover with plastic wrap.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil, then cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 5-6 minutes until the internal temperature is 160°F (71°C).
  4. In a separate saucepan, heat the diced tomatoes over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Stir in the cream or more crumbled feta until fully incorporated.
  5. Remove the patties from the skillet, let them rest for a minute, then plate and drizzle with the warm tomato cream sauce. Serve with fresh herbs.
