Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) if roasting vegetables. Gather your cooking tools: a large skillet, mixing bowl, and spatula.
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, minced garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix thoroughly.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the seasoned beef. Cook for 7-10 minutes, breaking it apart until browned and cooked through.
- While cooking, prepare the sauce by mixing additional soy sauce, honey, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
- Add optional sliced vegetables to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Pour the sauce over the cooked beef and vegetables, stirring to coat evenly. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Serve the beef mixture over a bed of rice or cauliflower rice, topping with sesame seeds and optional fried egg.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve immediately.
