Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a large sauté pan, heat 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat until melted and lightly browned, about 2 minutes.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes and 4 finely minced garlic cloves to the pan, sautéing for 1 minute until aromatic.
  3. Pour in 1/4 cup of dry white wine, stirring to combine, and simmer for about 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon of lemon zest, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
  5. Add 1 pound of chopped asparagus to the pan, cooking for 2 minutes while stirring occasionally.
