Cooking Steps
- Finely shred half a head of cabbage, chop one medium onion, and mince three cloves of garlic along with one tablespoon of fresh ginger.
- Heat a tablespoon of sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add one pound of ground beef and break it apart with a spatula. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
- Push the browned beef to one side and add onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in shredded cabbage, three tablespoons of soy sauce, one tablespoon of oyster sauce (if using), and black pepper and salt to taste. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
- Remove from heat and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve warm.
