  • 8 oz Fresh Mozzarella sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
  • 4 oz Prosciutto thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Roasted Red Peppers drained and patted dry
  • 2 cups Fresh Arugula
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil optional
For the Drizzle
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic Glaze homemade or store-bought
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil extra virgin
  • to taste Salt & Black Pepper

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Slice the focaccia bread horizontally to create a top and bottom half. Optional: scoop out some of the interior.
  2. Drizzle both cut sides with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. On the bottom half, layer fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, roasted red peppers, and arugula.
  4. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the layered ingredients.
  5. Place the top half of the focaccia over and press down gently.
  6. Slice into portions and serve, or warm in the oven at 350°F for 5-7 minutes.
