Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Combine 1 cup of rolled or quick oats with 2 tablespoons of chia seeds, pour in 1 cup of your preferred milk, and stir until well incorporated.
  2. Add in 1/3 cup of creamy peanut butter to the oat mixture and mix until evenly distributed.
  3. Mash half a ripe banana and fold it into the oat mixture.
  4. If desired, add 1 tablespoon of maple syrup and mix until fully combined.
  5. Divide the mixture into two jars, slice the remaining half of the banana, and layer on top.
  6. Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
