  2. Stir in chopped sweet onion and bell peppers, sautéing for 2-3 minutes until onions are translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Pour in 3 cups of chicken broth and 1 can of diced tomatoes, followed by 1 cup of heavy cream. Stir well, add 12 ounces of uncooked penne or farfalle pasta, and ensure it's submerged.
  4. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to low and cover the pot. Simmer for 12-16 minutes, stirring often, until pasta is tender.
