Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by lining an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) if baking components.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk and white chocolate chips, stirring frequently until melted and smooth, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, repeat the melting process for the semi-sweet chocolate chips until completely melted, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in the remaining peppermint extract and pour over the white chocolate fudge base.
  4. Sprinkle the crushed peppermint candies over the top layer of chocolate. Add red food coloring if desired, and gently swirl through the chocolate.
  5. Place the baking dish in the refrigerator to chill for about 2 hours, or until the fudge is completely set.
  6. Using the parchment paper overhang, lift the fudge out of the baking dish and slice into squares.
