  • 1/4 cup Milk Plant-based option available
  • 1 medium Onion, Finely Chopped Sauté for enhanced flavor
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced Fresh is best
  • 1 large Egg Binding agent
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce Soy sauce for gluten-free
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Dried Parsley
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder Optional
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Optional
Gravy Ingredients
  • 2 cup Beef Broth Vegetable broth for vegetarian option
  • 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour Cornstarch for gluten-free
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce Optional
  • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard Optional
Mashed Potatoes Ingredients
  • 2 lb Potatoes, Peeled & Chopped Russet or Yukon Gold recommended
  • 4 tbsp Butter Olive oil for dairy-free
  • 1/2 cup Milk Any plant-based alternative fits
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley, Chopped For garnish

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, parsley, onion powder, and garlic powder in a large bowl. Mix until well blended.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches diameter, and place on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes until cooked through.
  4. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil, add potatoes, and cook for 15-20 minutes until fork-tender. Drain and set aside.
  5. Mash the potatoes with garlic, butter, and milk until smooth. Stir in parsley.
  6. In a skillet, add flour to medium heat and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually whisk in beef broth and cook until thickened. Stir in soy sauce and mustard if using.
  7. Add baked meatballs to the gravy and let simmer for a few minutes.
  8. Serve mashed potatoes topped with meatballs and gravy, garnished with parsley.
